The Cora Hartshorn Arboretum's Board of Trustees has named Jim Peck its new Executive Director, a newly created position. He is a self-described proponent of hands-on environmental education, believing that is the key to saving natural places. Peck has a distinguished track record as an enthusiastic educator; his most recent post was Education Director of the American Littoral Society, a coastal conservation organization at Sandy Hook.
