Joyce D. MacCoy, a longtime parishioner of Christ Church in Short Hills, died on Aug. 16 after a long illness. She was 77. MacCoy was born in Newark and lived in Union. Along with her husband, Don, and their daughter, Carol, MacCoy was very active with Christ Church's hospitality ministry and coordinated the weekly Coffee Hour for many years. Visitation will be held on Aug. 19 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm at Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood. The funeral service will be at Christ Church, 66 Highland Ave., Short Hills, on Aug. 20 at 11am.
