Summit Short Hills SoMa Achieves Another Milestone

Andrea Spaar, owner and editor/publisher of The Summit Short Hills SoMa Macaroni Kid (summitshsoma.macaronikid.com) is so excited to announce that her website has received well over 718,854 views. Her newsletter is now a Silver MK Publication with over 2,550 subscriber families. For over 2 1/2 years, Spaar has been informing subscriber families and readers about great local family friendly events and activities.

Why are families subscribing to her MK newsletter and going to her site? The FREE Macaroni Kid site and newsletter offers an EXTENSIVE listing of kid-friendly local activities and events. Spaar explains, "Our area offers so many activities for children and I try to do all of the work of gathering great events, so families can spend time doing fun things together. Since my listing can get huge, the site does offer a calendar feature to narrow down by date."

Some other highlights of MK are articles, crafts, recipes, and the opportunity to win tickets to some local events or an occasional free product. Right now, we are currently running a giveaway for a 4-ticket voucher to Sesame Street Live: "Elmo's Super Heroes" at MSG in February. You must be a subscriber to enter the contest. Additional details can be found on the website and in the newsletter.

The Summit Short Hills SoMa Macaroni Kid covering Summit, Short Hills, South Orange, Maplewood, Chatham, Livingston, Millburn, New Providence and West Orange is always free for parents/subscribers. To subscribe to the free Summit Short Hills SoMa MK newsletter, go to summitshsoma.macaronikid.com/subscribe/. The newsletter/website is paid for by advertisers. Since Spaar, lives locally and works closely with many small local businesses, she understands the importance of keeping advertising opportunities affordable. "My favorite part of Macaroni Kid is working with so many families and businesses.  I welcome the opportunity to get involved in the wonderful communities in our area," explains Spaar. "I hope to get even more involved and continue to give back."
