13 is a musical with lyrics and music by Jason Robert Brown and a book by Dan Elish, with Robert Horn newly joining as co-librettist. The story concerns the life of 13-year-old Evan Goldman as he moves from New York City to Appleton, Indiana, and his dilemma when the move conflicts with the celebration of his Bar Mitzvah. This weekend, close to 80 students were involved in presenting this popular production in the Millburn Middle School auditorium.

Great show! Hard to believe it was only a middle school production. Mr. Oppel does a fantastic job with the kids and should be held up as an example of how hard our teachers really work. This production had to of taken hours upon hours to develop outside of the classroom. The show also displayed how wonderfully talented the children are in our township.... Bravo to all involved!
