Locals came out to Millburn High School early Sunday night for the annual fireworks display to end the 4th of July holiday.
Families staked out places to sit with lawn chairs and picnic blankets while DJ Krazy Kat played music and people danced, played football and frisbee and generally socialized. It capped off a day of fun for the holiday in Millburn-Short Hills that started with 9 a.m. with events in Taylor Park that featured the annual Patriot Award, the trike and bike parade, sporting events and the carnival.
