A 'Souper Bowl' at Deerfield
Students battle on the big game week to help fill a food pantry and feed the hungry.
All week, Deerfield students have been battling in the school's first 'Souper Bowl.'
Students are bringing in cans of soup and placing them on tables for either the Giants or the Patriots.
As you can see by the picture, the Giants are well in the lead! We'll see if that bodes well for the team on game day.
Meanwhile, everyone is a winner in this game - especially the Interfaith Food Pantry of the Oranges, which will receive all the soup!
Go Deerfield!

It continues to amaze me how all our schools collect food and then take it to other towns when we need it here! The Red Cross in Millburn has a food pantry. Doesn't it make sense to feed our community first?
