A Walk in the Woods
Some of the paved roads in the reservation are still blocked with trees in many areas.
A walk in the South Mountain Reservation this week was an excerise in climbing, hurdling or walking off road to get around fallen trees and branches, leftover from the freak end-of-October snowstorm.
Here are some photos of the main walking road in the reservation taken this week. Despite the downed trees, there were still many runners and dogwalkers on beautiful day.
If you're interested in helping clear paths in the reservation, see story for more infomation.

Given how many tree branches are still cluttering up the local roads not too surprising this hasn't been cleaned up yet....

Exactly right, M Okeef. But they're working on it. And volunteers are needed to help with that effort (see companion piece).
