Livingston resident Dorit Ritter-Haddad’s recipe for Peaches ‘n’ Cream was featured in this month’s issue of Taste of Home magazine. Taste of Home receives thousands of recipes each year and Dorit’s was chosen to be included as the perfect Father’s Day dessert in the “Dad’s Sunday Dinner” feature.
“A great way to bond with Dad in the kitchen is to assemble this simple, fruity summertime dessert together,” adds Dorit.
Peaches ‘n’ Cream

Prep/Total Time: 15 min.
Yield: 4 servings
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ½ tsp. vanilla extract
- 4 medium peaches, halved and pitted
- 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
- Large banana, peeled and sliced
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar
In a small bowl, beat cream until it begin to thicken. Add vanilla; beat until soft peaks form. Arrange fruit on a platter; top with whipped cream. Sprinkle with brown sugar.
