Art Advisory Hosts Show at the Library

Various forms of art will be on display through October in the lobby gallery.

Millburn Art Advisory Committee members put up artwork at the Millburn Library lobby gallery today for a show that will run through October.

The art includes donated pieces from 1945 through the present with permanent collection works that include oil paintings, photography, collages, watercolors and mixed media mono-prints.

Art Advisory members will also display their own talents.

“Our newest committee member, Arlene Lieberman, has introduced us to Jason Towns, whose artwork recently was featured at the Montclair Museum of Art," said Laraine Barach. “Two of his pieces are featured at library in the new show.”

Also featured at the library will be Victoria Plummer and Orna Greenberg. Watercolors and collages that depict scenes of Millburn gifted by the Wells Fargo Bank are alsoon exhibit through Oct. 31.
