Arts Advisory Committee Honors Senior Artists
The committee hosts a show of the students' work at the Paper Mill Playhouse.
The Millburn Arts Advisory Committee celebrated Millburn High School students who received their annual scholarships Saturday night.
The committee was formed in 1998, and the scholarships came out of the realization by committee member Larianne Barach that supplies for college freshman studying art can top $3,000 a year.
"This year we've been able to give $1,400 to 10 students," Barach said. "We have generous support from local organizations, like the Rotary Club and Jerry's Artist Outlet."
