In this week, in Millburn and Short Hills, the Board of Edcation gets down to business before school starts up next week. 

The board meeting is scheduled for tonight, at 7:45 p.m., in the Education Center. The agenda is attached to review. 

The New Jersey Monthly Magazine released its high school rankings last week, dropping the high school from first to eighth, check out what the public has already said in the comments thread on the Patch.

Walk-in Physical Exams for Kids

Watchung Pediatrics is offering walk-in physical exams for children who need back to school and/or sports physicals. Walk-in hours are 8:30am-4:30pm August 6-10. Families do not need to be patients of the practice and visits will be billed to the patients' insurance for a well visit. Come meet our wonderful staff and providers and get your kids' back to school healthcare needs met!

Millburn Farmers Market

The Downtown Millburn Farmers Market is now in its 20th year.   We are a NJ Fresh Farmers Market. Open Fridays from 8am-3pm behind Town Hall on Essex Street.  

Farmers include:  Alstede Farms, Ort Farms, Vacchiano Farms and E & R Organic. Specialty vendors include:   Hoboken Farms, Gina's Bakery, Dr. Pickle and Paolo's Kitchen.  

The Millburn Green Team will also be on site providing educational information about going Green in Millburn-Short Hills. Each week we host a raffle to win tickets to the Paper Mill Playhouse's next show "Lend me a Tenor".  See you Fridays at the Millburn Farmers Market at Town Hall!
