Firefighters cleaned up a small gasoline spill on Forest Drive on Tuesday.
A vehicle veered into a culvert and opned the gasline at the gas tank, and there was gasoline running into the gutter, according to a Millburn Fire Department report. Less than a gallon of gasoline spilled into the gutter.
Firefighters were called to the scene at around 10:40 a.m. and stopped the flow of gasoline with a drying agent. They attempted to plug the leak, but it did not hold. The vehicle was also raised with airbags so firefighters could remove a rock that was lodged under it.
