Gov. Chris Christie will unveil his state budget in an address to the state Legislature at 3 p.m. today.
The governor will deliver a budget speech that details the administration's funding priorities. He is expected to address post-Sandy rebuilding and could speak about how automatic federal funding cuts would affect New Jersey budgeting.
Last year, Christie called for a 10-percent income tax cut that ultimately wasn't included in the $31.7 billion spending plan.
Check back with Patch at 3 p.m. to watch the address live.

our property taxes are still high even with the cap and we the people have accepted this as the norm while my other fellow statesmen quietly leave the state for more tax friendly states and communities.

Christie calls Obamacare a "government takeover of health care" back in 2011, but today he says he'll take the Obamacare provision expanding Medicaid. Christie wails incessantly about government staying out of our lives, yet when he utterly fails to prepare for Hurricane Sandy, he rations gasoline. He's promising tax cuts he can't deliver while presiding over rising unemployment and crime and yet his popularity continues to rise while he uses storm victims as props for his 2016 presidential campaign. Only in New Jersey!

Yep, definitely Christie's fault that the storm of the century decided to come ashore where it did. He should be held accountable for not changing the course of the weather.

I don't think that's what he said. However, there does appear to be a dichotomy of opinion in thinking affordable healthcare is a "government takeover" while fully expecting the same government to foot the bill for Sandy expenses.

Worse than a RINO.....
Christie is THE SHAPE SHIFTER! First he appears as an Elephant aka Republican and does not set up the Obamacare Health Exchange, next he morphs into a Rhinoceros aka RINO and after waffling about accepts the Obamacare Medicaid dollars, next he takes on the shape of a Donkey aka Democrat and wants regionialism and Forced shared services.
Christie is very much like Obama...on stage all the time...laughing that he has fooled many Nj taxpayers. HEE-HAW Governor Chistie there is no difference between you and Obama, you are both Donkeys AKA Jackasses.
