Art enthusiasts headed to the Stewart Leshé Collections on Saturday to see the work from New Jersey native Cicely Cottingham in her new exhibit, "The Marjorie Paintings and Kitchen Table Drawings."

The exhibit—which is two sets of work—is on display through Nov. 27 at the Main Street establishment. A reception for the opening was held on Saturday.

The Marjorie Paintings are large-scale works measuring 64 by 48 inches, composed of acrylic on wood panels and were produced 2000–2003. They were inspired by Cottingham's mother, Marjorie, and her move from the country to an urban setting.

The “Kitchen Table Drawing" is a set of watercolor drawings Cottingham created starting in 2007. She would create the drawings at her kitchen table after dinner.
