Deerfield Turkey Trotters Raise Money for Thanksgiving
Students donated food and walked laps around the school to raise money to help needy at Thanksgiving.
The second annual Deerfield Turkey Trot today was a huge success. Students soaked in the warm weather by walking "turkeyometers" around the school. They recorded the laps on their turkey trot trackers.
The students donated food and raised money to support families in our community who are in need. The donations are used to buy ShopRite gift cards for perishables so that these families can have a Thanksgiving meal.
