Fourth of July Week in Millburn and Short Hills

Here's the run down of the week's events for the holiday with a few meetings scattered in.

 

This week ahead in Millburn and Short Hills, the township is light on meetings with the July 4th celebrations. The Board of Education is taking off until July 30, after have two meetings last week. 

The week kick starts off with the Millburn Zoning Board Meeting at 7 p.m. on the second floor of town hall. 

Following that meeting the Enviromental Commissions Meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

And that's it residents. Now go gave fun because the town has some great 4th of July events lined up. 

Here's the run down of Wednesdays events:

9 a.m.  The flag-raising at Taylor Park 
9:15 a.m. The Patriot Award presentation for the Millburn-Short Hills Girl Scouts.
9:30 a.m. The bike/trike/stroller parade 
10:00 a.m. The girls’ All Star softball game 
11 to 3 p.m Taylor Park is filled with event for the family
7 p.m.  At the Millburn High School Krazy Kat will play patriotic music.

...and the best part of the 4th of July is FIREWORKS! Which are set to go off at dusk.

A Healthy Body starts with a Healthy Colon

Educational workshop covering importance of Colon health.
Discussion topics will include:Food combinations and healthy eating.  How to clean your colon on a daily basis without the use of drugs or supplements.

Millburn Old Guard

All retired men who are Millburn residents, former residents or residents of neighboring towns are invited to join weekly year-round meetings with stimulating programs, speakers and good fellowship.  There are opportunities to join groups for golf, bridge, bowling and shuffleboard.  Potential candidates may contact Doug Reed, 973 763-4524, for information on activities.

Neighborhood Warriors ~ Yoga by Donation to benefit local organization

Program and Class. Starting this Thursday at 11:30am, July 7th, We will be offering one class per week by donation. All proceeds will go directly the organization we've selected each month.
Our 1st partner is the Newark Yoga Movement. 
Come on down to the Barn and spread the Love.
