It's a big political weekend (there's a general election on Tuesday!) so what better time for three-term New York City Mayor Ed Koch to come to town?

Actually, Koch is not in town to discuss his illustrious political past.

He and his sister Pat Koch Thaler have written a children's book together and they'll be signing copies at Words Bookstore on Sunday at 2 p.m. Eddie Shapes Up is the story of a boy who decides to change his lifestyle to make his life happier and healthier.

The book includes a forward from President Bill Clinton and illustrations by Jonathan Hoefer. The book is aimed at inspiring readers of all ages to eat right, exercise regularly and always join the fun.
