Linda's Gifts Is Not Leaving

Owner sells business; will re-open in September

It seems that some locals were prematurely mourning the demise of at least one Millburn business. Linda's Gifts, which closed its doors Monday, is not leaving for good. Rather, owner Linda Cheng sold the business, formalizing the deal Monday.

According to Helen Kyle of the Downtown Millburn Development Alliance, the store will re-open in September. She does not yet know the name of the new owner nor if the store will change its name.

Some Millburn residents have been lamenting the number of vacancies in downtown Millburn, particularly in the area surrounding Linda's Gifts where Designer Handbag & Jewelry has left 353 Millburn Avenue and Deborah Gilbert Smith has relocated from 351 Millburn Avenue to a new location in downtown at 340 Millburn Avenue (next to Coco).

The retention of Linda's Gifts is good news for all.
