Millburn Film Fest Set For April

After a hugely successful inaugural Red Carpet Premiere, the second annual Millburn Film Fest is approaching. The festival is slated for Thursday, April 11, at 7 p.m. at Millburn High School.
Opening the film festival last year was Millburn graduate, Jon Kilik, the Academy-Award nominated producer of ‘The Hunger Games.’
More than 500 community members in attendance viewed eight original Millburn students’ films. The top short films chosen by the judges will be shown at the Red Carpet Premiere and at an encore performance at Millburn Clearview Cinema.

judges for the 2nd annual Millburn Film Fest.
Judges for this year will be Joe Kernen (Author & CNBC news anchor), Tim Drucker (Writer, Director, & Actor), Sara Louise Lazarus (Producer, Director, Writer, & Acting Coach), Nancy Dries (Producer & Communications Coordinator), Trish Gonnella Russo (Disney & Miramax Production), and The Millburn-Short Hills Arts Advisory Committee under the Direction of Curator and Art Consultant, Laraine Brennan Barach.
Joe Kernen is a CNBC news anchor and co-host of CNBC’s 'Squawk Box.' Kernen
has worked as a stockbroker and earned a masters degree in developmental
biology from MIT. Kernen lives in town with his family and co-wrote a book
with his daughter "Your Teacher Said What? Defending Our Kids from the
Liberal Assault on Capitalism."
Tim Drucker, a 2002 graduate of Millburn, debuted his Off-Broadway musical
"Fat Camp" last spring. It will appear on Broadway soon.
