Approximately 25 new Millburn High School students and their parents met in the guidance office after completing their Monday and Tuesday morning placement tests for a PTO sponsored reception.

Principal Dr. William Miron and Vice Principal Dr. Michele Pitts welcomed the group, guidance office personel were on hand for scheduling assistance, and the PTO officers provided refreshments and volunteer opportunities for the parents.  After the reception Dale Fritchman led a tour through the school.

New students come from as close as Far Brook School, Maplewood, and Parsippany and as far away as Russia, China, and Taiwan.  They will join the rest of the Millburn High Schoolstudent body to make up the 1,539 students currently enrolled in the school

The new 9th graders will join the rest of their class on Thursday, August 30 for orientation and a Student/Parent Open House from 1:00-2:30 PM.
