There was a Giant appearance in Short Hills on Tuesday evening.
New York Giants offensive ineman and New Jersey resident Rich Seubert was at the Morris Turnpike Walgreens Tuesday to receive his combined H1N1 and seasonal flu shot and to sign autographs and take pictures with local fans.
About a month ago Walgreens became the New York Giants official pharmacy. Since then the Giants have been making scheduled appearances to receive their flu shots from the pharmacy chain and promote the importance of getting a flu shot. A spokesman from the pharmacy chain said there would be a total of 10 appearances by Giants' players—five in New York and five in New Jersey.
A Walgreens spokesman said when the flu season comes to an end they will once again team with the Giants to begin community outreach on diabetes.
