Newark Man Arrested for Scarf Theft
He's accused of stealing 29 scarves worth more than $8,000.
Police arrested a Newark man in connection to the theft of thousands of dollars worth of scarves at Burberry at the Mall at Short Hills.
Jimmy Lugo, 30, was charged with shoplifting. He is being held at the Essex County Jail on $10,000 in bail.
Police said he was involved in stealing 29 scarves from the store at the mall on Nov. 4. The scarves have a combined value of $8,555. Police said the investigation continues.
