1. The Paper Mill Playhouse hosts the first of two days of auditions for the Summer Musical Theater Conservatory on Saturday at Keane University. Auditions are not open, and an appointment is needed. Call 973-379-3636, ext. 2133 to schedule an audition.
2. Christ Church holds its annual rummage sale on Saturday at 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event supports the church's youth programs. In the event of snow, the sale will be moved to Sunday at 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Check the church's website for information.
3. RockN' Joe plays host to the Saturday Afternoon Songswap on Saturday at 4:30-6:30 p.m. Michael Carlucci, Glenn Mercer, Dave Weckerman and Ed Seifert (from The Feelies, Winter Hours and East of Venus) will be performing original songs. All musicians are welcome.
4. The girls basketball team holds a clinic for girls in kindergarten through eighth grade on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. to noon at Millburn High School. 5. Congregation B'nai Israel hosts its gala auction on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. The event sponsors the Hedwig Gruenewald Early Childhood Center and features a number of different types of items. Tickets are $45 at the door.
