A pick-up truck crashed into a light pole, around 9:50 a.m. on Thursday, at the intersection of Ridgewood Road and Whittingham Terrace, closing down a part of Whittingham Terrace, police said.

A PSE&G worker, on scene, said Whittingham Terrace at Ridgewood Road was closed for a few hours until JCP&L replaced the pole.

According to Captain Michael Palardy, JCP&L was repairing the pole in the morning.

Police said the Millburn Fire Department responded to check the power of the light pole.

The driver was uninjured. Police have not identified the driver or issued any tickets or summons, Palardy said.
