Planning Board Meets Tonight
Hanukkah also starts tonight at sundown.
1. The Planning Board meets Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Town Hall. On the agenda is the New Jersey American Water plan to replace its current water treatment facility on John F. Kennedy Parkway. The application is for the second phase of the construction.
2. Hanukkah begins at sundown on Wednesday. The Jewish festival of lights lasts eight nights. JCC MetroWest has some events planned. Click here for their events.
3. Far Brook School in Short Hills is holding an admissions open house on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. to noon.
4. Free parking is now in effect in Lots 1, 2, 4 and 5 downtown. You won't have to pay parking in those lots through the end of the year.
5. Graham cracker houses to be entered in the competition at the Cora Hartshorn Arboretum are due on Friday. The houses will be on display there on Saturday through Tuesday, and there are prizes for the best entries.
