Police Called to Hartshorn School; No Children Were in Danger
An employee left the building and did not return, according to a school email.
There was no danger to any children at Hartshorn Elementary School when police were called there Monday.
An email was sent to parents just before 2 p.m. from Hartshorn Principal Ronald Castaldo alerting them to the situation. It stated an employee left the building and did not return. Police were called to assist with the situation.
Police Captain James Miller, department public information officer, said the issue had been resolved by 4 p.m. He did not have further information.

Currently there are a number of police officers at Hartshorn School. There is no danger to students or to staff. Earlier today an employee left the building and did not return. Police were called to help find him.
