Thanks for this info. ... It would be nice if we also knew if regular trash collections or recycled 'stuff' could be put out at the curb. Only three houses in my neighborhood put out their trash ... No biggie really, we'll just add it to our next collection ~ but it would be nice to know. Thanks!

That's exactly right. I think only one house on our block put their trash out.
Up until this year the Town Planner calendars produced and distributed by the town used to list pick up/no pick up by zone for each day of the week. Now they replaced it with the NJ Devils' game schedule. It was more helpful when they had it the other way. Maybe we need to contact the new outsourced vendor for a holiday schedule?

You're right, Jersey. My apologies. I mentioned this on MLK Day and forgot to this time, but there's a note on the town website that states that with privatization "trash will not be picked up only on MAJOR holidays, which includes New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. All other holidays will receive trash and/or recycling collection."

Thanks Laura ~ ~ I have not logged onto the town's website. Guess I should add that one to my 'favorites' .... Actually, I rather liked the schedule on the Town Planner .... so convenient. I like to keep it simple, but will log onto the website for future info.
