Sandra Haimoff Wins Unopposed
Current mayor reelected for three more years on the committee, early results say.
Republican Mayor Sandra Haimoff ran unopposed in Tuesday's election for a three-year seat on the Township Committee.
According to early results, the current mayor won and will serve another term, adding on to her nine years on the Township Committee.
Prior to the committee, she was on the Board of Education for 12 years. She has also served on the Planning Board, the Zoning Board of Adjustment, the Hartshorn Arboretum board, the Environmental commission and was president of the Hartshorn PTA.

Since August of 2011, the mayor has spent much of her time dealing with JCP&L and on a multi-town council of mayors who are working together to find ways to remediate flood damage and minimize future flooding.
“Most of it is enjoyable,” Haimoff said in a previous interview. "I like working for the community."
