Construction at Millburn Middle School is complete, and the Board of Education and school officials cut the ribbon to mark the event Monday morning. There were tours of the expansion following the ceremony.
The expansion includes a new multi-purpose room and three floors of classrooms, including science laboratories. It cost $7.4 million to construct the middle school expansion, and the facility will be in full use in September.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at Millburn High School at 6:15 p.m. today to mark the completion of that simultaneous project.
