ShopRite Pitches in for Autism Awareness Campaign

ShopRite's local contribution will help "Light It Up Blue," a global effort to raise awareness of autism spectrum disorders

Light It Up Blue, a global autism awareness campaign, is coming to Bloomfield.

Beginning March 25, the Brookdale ShopRite store will be selling “Light It Up Blue” t-shirts for $10, as well as autism “puzzle pieces” for a donation of $1 or $5.  All proceeds will go directly to Autism Speaks.

Autism Speaks’ mission is to change the future of all who struggle with autism spectrum disorders.  A Bloomfield community leader, the Brookdale ShopRite has joined the effort to increase awareness of autism spectrum disorders and advocate for needs of individuals with autism, as well their families and caregivers.
