Anybody know how the cyclist is doing? I saw the aftermath of the accident Saturday afternoon and his bike was completely crushed. I hope he is ok.

This is a really sad story to hear.I wish that the city would put a little more effort into making the streets a little safer for bike riders. I just started biking about a year ago to work, and it has been a totally bittersweet experience. Its great because I bought this bike, http://www.2wheelbikes.com/hybrid-commuter.html , and its a great way to exercise, and everything, but the streets can be really sketchy. Having more riders out there would be awesome. As it would make the lawmakers think about more safety for bike riders.
