South Orange Library Presents Shakespeare, Live, Free, Family-Friendly

The Marriage of Figaro is set for Thursday

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's Next Stage Ensemble will take center stage at the South Orange Public Library on Thursday, July 19, at 7:30 for a free, public performance of "The Marriage of Figaro." (Please note this event is on Thursday, not Tuesday, as was previously reported elsewhere.)

Librarian Phyllis Kalb notes that this performance is "fun and appropriate for the whole family." As a bonus, the library is cool and, she says, "refreshments will be served." The performance is ponsored by Bayonne Community Bank (formerly Alliance Bank).

"The Marriage of Figaro" is a comedy that follows "The Barber of Seville" and this production is suitable for all ages.
