A South Orange resident was arrested after a car accident Tuesday night on Millburn Avenue.

Brian P. McSharry, 39, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and issued a summons for careless driving after the crash at just before 9:30 p.m.

There were no apparent injuries because of the accident, police said. Both police and the Millburn-Short Hills First Aid Squad were at the scene of the two-car accident at the intersection of Millburn and Wyoming avenues.
