Based on recent break ins around town does anyone else think it's a bad idea to post exact streets without power? I know I wouldn't want this info to be public if I had a house without power.

I agree, Millburn did an excellent job keeping all of us informed. We need to know this information. Plus, I talked to the police, they have extra officers working and patroling those areas. Get real, the problem is with JCPL, not Millburn.

Went to the dump to see if they were open as we have a lot of junk from basement. Talked with very nice guy (John W.) who let us know that the town would come pick everything up curbside. He went and put our street on the plan for later today. Really great response from town workers.

PRPC....your continual criticism, negativity, and threats like "mark my words ...town residents will revolt" are not helpful. Why don't YOU take some positive action like help clean up downtown, Taylor Park and/or encourage people to patronize our local merchants to help them get back on their feet?

The cops didn't post the address of anyone. They gave a public service information that is needed by those of us still in the dark. Good job MPD and I agree the coward hiding behind the name PRPC should be ignored.

The Police know what they are doing and should be supported. They have a new Cheif and from what I have been told, he is an outstanding law enforcement leader...

Last time I checked, millburn/short hills was still part of the united states...where we still had freedom of speech? Right?

Are you honestly happy with the job our elected town officials have done in the past week? Yes, police and fire have done a great job and, again, should be commended.

I think you raise a valid question about publicizing street names without power and your tone/comment "come on
Millburn township" came across, at least to me, as antagonistic. It's great to have an opinion and share it but you might have done it in a more positive, less alienating manner. We all need to work together during times like this.

police,fire, and DPW do not take orders from the mayor or the township committee. When election day comes and your cast your vote just remember what Deputy Mayor Tillitson did for us last week...nothing

Okay, I am very confused, has the boil water alert been lifted in the entire township? The last update I see on the Millburn website (dated 9/2) suggests that it hasn't?

I think that PRPC should run for office based upon his/her strong opinions on how this town should be run better. Complaining and accusing is one thing. Doing something about it is another. Maybe in preparation to your campaign you should also start posting under your real name.

Never said I was running.
