Support Ovarian Cancer Research at Shala
Catch "Les Miserables" if there are tickets, donate to toys for tots, see the lights at the zoo and buy Millburn artists' work in Maplewood.
Shala is holding a benefit holiday sale this weekend to support the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition. The sale is both Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The Millburn Police Department's Toys for Tots collection continues this weekend. You can drop off a new, unwrapped toy at police headquarters to donate to the effort.
There are "Les Miserables" performances at the Paper Mill Playhouse at 1:30 and 7 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Visit the playhouse's website to check on ticket availability.
The county's Holiday Light Spectacular continues on Saturday and Sunday at 5-9 p.m. at Turtle Back Zoo. The event is free, but visitors are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate.
The BANG 5 art sale is happening at the 1978 Maplewood Arts Center on Saturday at 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The sale features many local artists, including ones from Millburn-Short Hills.
