'The Situation' Details MHS Parking, Other Issues
Video from high school student outlines their side of the story.
Parking has been an issue at Millburn High School for quite some time, and a video posted on Current shows the students' side of the story.
The video interviews high school students about parking, but also dives into other issues including drug sniffing dogs at Millburn High School and affluence in Millburn-Short Hills. The video was posted on Saturday.
The description of the video states, "The ignorance of the residents that often plagues the town, the way that the student allow themselves to be pushed around, and the do nothing policy of the school and government are exemplified in this issue. This one problem allows for a view at the true colors those who halt progress in this town and maybe even other towns."

School officials added about 45 parking spaces this summer to alleviate some of the parking crunch. School officials also looked to off-site parking—including at the neighboring Chanticler and the former Saks Fifth Avenue site—but their proposals were rejected.
