The sound of chainsaws filled the air near downtown today when tree workers removed a tree at a residence on Taylor Street.
Workers were swinging from branches as they cut off the limbs. Each of the limbs was brought to the ground with a pulley mechanism before they were chipped by the crews on the ground.
By afternoon the entire tree was gone.
