He came on a fire truck to the chants of his name. Santa Claus had arrived in downtown Millburn and was part of the 2009 Snowflake Parade.

The parade drew hundreds if not thousands of locals to Millburn Avenue despite cold temperatures. There were many bands, including the Millburn High School band, and the crowd was entertained by clowns from the Funny Factory. Following the parade, children had the chance to meet Santa while their parents took photos.
