Wendy Williams to Appear at CARES Fundraiser
Wendy Williams will be making an appearance at the fundraiser also featuring the Harlem Wizards.
Popular daytime talk show host Wendy Williams will be coming to Livingston to participate in a fundraiser to benefit the CARES Foundation.
CARES is a non-profit that works to improve the lives of the Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia community and seeks to advance quality health care through support, advocacy, education and research.
On Sunday, Dec. 2, the Harlem Wizards will be teaming with the CARES Foundation to put on a special community basketball game at Livingston High School. Williams will address the crowd before tip-off and she will be announcing the home team players.
The Wizards will be taking on an array of community members, such as teachers, politicians and other Livingston residents. Tip off will be at 2 p.m.
Williams, host of the nationally-syndicated daytime program The Wendy Williams Show, is known all over the world for her vibrant personality and energetic sense of humor. Williams interviews countless A-list celebrity guests from television, film, music and sports and her show has been hailed by the New York Post as "daytime TV's favorite guilty pleasure".
Prior to her daytime show, Williams had an enormously successful 23-year career in radio and had an audience of more than 12 million listeners nationally. She was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in November of 2009, an honor held by only a handful of women.
In addition to her TV and radio careers, Williams appeared on "Dancing With The Stars", hosted Game Show Network's original series "Love Triangle" and is the author of The New York Times bestseller The Wendy Williams Experience.
