Worship on Christmas Eve at a 5pm Candlelight Christmas Eve Service at Community Congregational Church in Short Hills.
The spiritual candlelit service features works by Rutter and Rudolph, with performances by the Youth and Chancel Choirs, a moment for children around the manger, congregational singing of classic Christmas carols and unison raising of our candles to “Silent Night," setting an appropriate tone for the night before Christmas.
At Community Congregational Church, we welcome all persons, regardless of former or present religious affiliation, who express a desire to live a Christian Life, bringing people together in the name of Christ to create a community in terms of His spirit through worship, education, fellowship and outreach.
Our weekly Family Worship Service, which relates faith and spirituality to everyday living, is held every Sunday at 10:30am. More About Community Congregational Church
Community Congregational Church was formed in 1953 by eight people who felt the need for a simplified form of worship. It has now grown into a community with a sanctuary seating 500 people and an extensive number of activities including education programs, youth programs and a music program.
The Montessori Children's Academy is associated with the church.
