The topic for discussion will be “Raising Successful & Happy Children in Today’s Competitive World” and is open to the community.
Conducted by Dr. Johann Bosman, the hour-long workshop will enable parents to assess their personal strategy for raising successful and happy children, and identify how the unique characteristics of their home environment can be conducive to this process. Married couples are encouraged to attend together.
Dr. Bosman, a town resident for more than 20 years and parent of three children, is the Senior Minister at Community Congregational Church, located at 200 Hartshorn Drive in Short Hills. Dr. Bosman holds graduate degrees in Psychology and a doctorate from Princeton Theological Seminary. In his work with families, couples and teenagers, he conducts group and individual consultation sessions, focusing on the issues related to life-stage and personal adjustment. He also provides vocational and life-skills coaching.
The program will begin with a pizza dinner followed by the workshop. A supervised games and music program will be provided free of charge for parents requiring childcare.

More About Community Congregational Church
Community Congregational Church was formed in 1953 by eight people who felt the need for a simplified form of worship. It has now grown into a community with a sanctuary seating 500 people and an extensive number of activities including education programs, youth programs and a music program.
The Montessori Children's Academy is associated with the church.
