Our community comes together to provide a hot Thanksgiving meal to people in Irvington on November 24.

Community Congregational Church in Short Hills is partnering with the First Congregational Church in
Irvington to serve a hot Thanksgiving meal to 350+ people.

Servers are needed!  People and families are invited to participate by serving the meal on Thanksgiving.  The meal will be served at the Irvington Church and 3 satellite locations in Irvington, located less than 5 minutes from the church (a park, homeless shelter and community center), beginning at 12 noon.  We will finish serving by 1pm and clean up should take less than 30 minutes, making our departure from Irvington no later than 1:30pm.

Families with Children: Being a part of our Thanksgiving Meal is a great way for families with children to serve others side-by-side! Children are welcome to attend with their parents and will "shadow" their parents during the serving.

If you would like to make a monetary donation, please make all checks payable to Community Congregational Church, marked "Soup Kitchen."
