Few weeks ago in the anticipation of a warmer weather and the imminent (hopefully) Spring arrival, Pumpkin Coach Events had a lot of fun designing very sweet and girly bridal shower. The NYC based Bottino restaurant was a great spot for it, with its tiny city garden (although still pretty bare) and its greenhouse windows. As lovely as the garden was, the room itself was a bit cold and unwelcoming, with its stark white walls and plain tables and chairs. But that's when the fun starts for an event designer! We paired up bold black velvet damask patterned linens with dusty rose lamour napkins. Napkins- shaped to look like a big bow on the chargers-were tied with a dainty black velvet ribbon. Using ribbon is a great alternative to expensive and overused napkin rings.
Floral bouquets were stunning with hot pink hydrangeas, pink spray roses and pink ranunculus.
Personalized damask menus in matching pink and crystal table lamps finished the table decor.
The overall effect and contrast of lush pink flowers on black and elegant tablecloths turn the room from looking drab to looking fabulous.
So when you plan your next dinner party, think about the bold elements and beautiful floral arrangements to bring your guests' eye to it and wow them from the first impression!
