Millburn Fire Department to Host Annual Halloween Parade

The Millburn Fire Department will hold its annual Halloween Parade on Sunday, October 27.  The event, which will be held in Taylor Park and is open to Millburn-Short Hills residents age 15 and under, will feature musical entertainment, hay rides, and a parade followed by a costume contest.

Attendees must register in advance by submitting a registration form (available from the Fire Department and at selected businesses in town) or by calling Nicole Verducci, at (973) 564-7043.  Those who register prior to the October 18 deadline and appear in costume will receive a coupon for a free hot dog, drink, funnel cake, or cotton candy.  Participants are asked to arrive at 11 a.m.; the parade will begin promptly at noon.

Other activities will include a pumpkin patch and the opportunity to operate a front-end loader, a type of construction equipment featuring a mechanical shovel.
