Peapack-Gladstone Bank Collects Shoes

Everyone knows it feels good to help, to make a difference for someone in need.  That is why Peapack-Gladstone Bank has geared up for another great effort.  From February 3 through March 10 the Bank will be collecting new, used and clean, wearable footwear to benefit a current fundraising program for Mane Stream, a nonprofit organization located in Oldwick, NJ whose horsemanship programs benefit and improve the quality of life for children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities.  Mane Stream’s diversified programs include equine assisted occupational therapy, physical and speech therapy, a summer camp and vocational programs.  Mane Stream will receive dollars for every pound of shoes collected which will be utilized to offset farrier (shoe and hoof care) expenses for their horses.  In turn, every pair of shoes collected will be distributed by ShoeBox Recycling for resale and reuse at various local marketplaces assuring much needed footwear for men, women and children around the globe. 

Donations can be dropped off at any one of the following Peapack-Gladstone Bank locations:  Bernardsville, Bridgewater, Chatham, Chester, Far Hills, Fellowship Village, Gladstone, Long Valley, Mendham, Morristown, Oldwick, Pluckemin, Pottersville, Summit, Whitehouse and Headquarters in Bedminster.  Items NOT ACCEPTED include flip flops, UGGs, slippers, non-dress winter boots, crocs, single shoes, skates, ski boots, muddy or damaged footwear.
