Pure Pilates Supports Rutgers' Internship Program

Pure Pilates, a boutique studio in New Providence, NJ welcomes Emilia Iorillo, a student at Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts as an apprentice instructor to studio owner and instructor, Carol Crincoli.  Through Rutgers’ first Pilates Teacher Training program, offered through Polestar Pilates, Emilia is working to become a credentialed teacher of the practice.

The 453-hour program is a studio-based internship that allows students to accumulate first-hand knowledge and experience teaching on all Pilates apparatus and to clients at various practice levels.

Iorillo observes the classes of experienced Pure Pilates instructors, as well as conducts her own private sessions with clients under the supervision and guidance of Crincoli.  After successful completion of the internship, Iorillo will sit for the Pilates Method Alliance Board Certification Exam to add substantial value to her education degree.
