Roseanne Stampoulos, of Millburn Dies at 61

Roseanne Stampoulos, 61 passed away on July 24, 2013, enjoying 13 good years in remission after being diagnosed with a brain tumor and serving to inspire others.

Visitation will be from 4 – 8pm on Friday at the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave Union. Funeral service will be offered on Saturday at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church 250 Gallows Hill Rd. Westfield at 10 AM. Entombment is at Hollywood Memorial Park.

Born in Newark, Roseanne lived in Millburn most of her life. She won a scholarship with the House of Dior studying fashion design in Paris, France; and went on to earn her Masters Degrees from Fairleigh Dickinson University & Kean University. She enjoyed exercising, traveling and had an avid interest in macrobiotics.

Roseanne is predeceased by her parents, Theodore and Irene. She is survived by her siblings, Anita Eckhard and her husband Charles; Janie Szot and her husband Karol; James Stampoulos and his wife Melissa; and Theodore Stampoulos and his wife Diane. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Ashley Eckhard Pilger and her husband David, Karolyn Szot, Hilary Szot, Mary Stampoulos, Nicholas Stampoulos and Olivia Stampoulos.
