Get ready for a brand new, exciting Sunday morning program for kids & teens! As part of our Growth Plan, our Youth Task Force has been hard at work to create a Sunday morning experience that is both engaging and formative. We are still working on a name for it…because it sure isn’t your traditional Sunday School!
Highlights include:
- New check in system that enhances security and safety (called KidCheck);
- Children’s choir practice with Mara, our new Director of Children’s Music Ministries, starting at 9am;
- Pre-Worship activities and singing starting at 10am;
- New curriculum that connects faith and spirituality to our kids’ everyday lives (called Orange);
- A new “Children’s Chapel” time where kids of all ages will sing and hear an age-appropriate message, using the latest technology in projection and sound;
- Age-grouped classes that explore the message of the Bible story for the day in hands-on, age-specific ways.
