President's Cup Night Race Takes Off Monday in Millburn

Registration remains open up until five minutes before the start of the 35th annual 5K run.

The 35th annual Investors Bank President's Cup Night Race is expected to draw more than 1,400 runners Monday night to downtown Millburn.

The 5K run, sponsored by the Millburn-Short Hills Chamber of Commerce, follows a route along Essex Street and Millburn Avenue finishing near Charlie Brown’s Fresh Grill.

The race begins at 8 p.m. and registration will be accepted throughout the day at The Sneaker Factory and again Monday night starting at 6 p.m. at the staging area near Charlie Brown's. Registration will close five minutes before the start of the race.

Volunteers are welcome and corporate teams are forming and encouraged.

Priddy Learning Academy is providing medals to all participants in the Kids Fun Run, which will be held prior to the race at 7:30 p.m. on Essex Street adjacent to the Charlie Brown’s parking lot.
