Short Hills is Richest Community in the Country, Report Says

Nearly 70% of the households earn more than $150K per year and 51% of the 13,000 residents hold advanced degrees.

Short Hills is the wealthiest community in the country, according to Time.com.

Nearly 70 percent of Short Hills households earn more than $150,000 per year and 51 percent of the approximately 13,000 residents hold advanced degrees, according to the report.

Fairfax Station, Va., was the second-wealthiest zip code in the country, followed by No. 3 Weston, Conn., No. 4 Great Falls, Va. and No. 5 Chappaqua, N.Y.

The report used data from the U.S. Census Bureau and the website FindTheBest. FindTheBest ranked zip codes with populations more than 10,000 by percentage of households earning more than $150,000 per year. The data was derived from five-year averages from the American Community Survey.
